COM POLICIES

*A separate COM Submission Form is required for each individual PO number.

*No changes or modifications may be made after this form has been submitted.

*COM fabric should be shipped via prepaid freight to Clad Home, 4300 Melrose Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90029.

*All COM shipments MUST be sidemarked with customer name, PO#, and the name of your design firm (if applicable.) Proper identification of your COM shipment is imperative. Clad Home accepts no responsibility for fabric shipped without proper labeling.

*It is the responsibility of the customer to track and ensure delivery of all COM fabric. Clad Home is not responsible for tracking, ensuring receipt of, or notifying customer of lost, delayed, or missing COM shipments. Customer is liable for all COM fabric submitted to Clad Home.

*COM fabric is not covered by the Clad Home furniture warranty.

*COM fabric must be inspected by the customer and/or supplier. Clad Home is not responsible for inspecting COM fabric, receiving the wrong fabric, or for any defects, color or dye lot variations, or other fabric flaws.

*All fabric may exhibit slight variation from dye lot to dye lot and customers should request a CFA (cutting for approval) from the fabric vendor prior to ordering if necessary.

*Non-Railroaded fabric orientation will usually require additional seams on your furniture.

*Leather may require additional seams where hide size is not sufficient.

*It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the suitability of their COM fabric for their upholstery project and to determine whether it requires fabric backing. Any questions regarding suitability should be directed towards the fabric manufacturer, not Clad Home.

*Clad Home will make our best effort at matching the design of your patterned fabric, but we make no guarantees as some patterns are challenging if not impossible to match. We will use what you send us but please sht to us use your own judgement about suitable prints.

*ALL specialized instructions must be included in the NOTES section of this form. In the absence of specific and detailed instructions, Clad Home reserves the right to use our best judgment to determine the fabric face, design direction, seam placement, and orientation of your COM fabric.

*All fabric must be on a bolt of continuous yardage. We cannot accept folded or multiple pieces of material.

*All yardage quotes are based on 54” wide bolts.

*Fabrics with long fibers such as velvet and mohair are prone to crushing and have inherent characteristics that may not allow for perfectly clean, crisp seams. If you choose to work with these fabrics you accept these characteristics.

*Unusual instructions for fabric placement and pattern matching may incur additional labor, must be approved by Clad Home in advance of your order, and are subject to additional fees.

*We do not return excess yardage.
