The Tamiya TT-02B chassis is a variant of the innovative TT-02 on-road 4WD chassis. The Plasma Edge II is the successor of the thousandfold popular Plasma Edge. Thanks to simple construction and easy maintenance solutions, the chassis is also suitable for beginners. The battery placed longitudinally in the hull frame chassis and the low-slung RC components ensure a low center of gravity. Independent suspension and double wishbones, oil-pressure shock absorbers, all-wheel drive and the high-grip studded tires provide excellent traction. Front and rear axles are equipped with sealed bevel gear differentials. The Type 540 RS Torque Tuned electric motor provides plenty of power off-road. With optional tuning parts, the chassis can be quickly tuned into a race buggy. The underside of the chassis has an extra-smooth design and the battery compartment accommodates all common battery types. The tough polycarbonate body stands up to the rigors of off-road conditions and is very lightweight.
